Goodbye, Running Bear

I remembered to turn on the radio at 11:56 to listen to KPFA's coverage of the execution of Running Bear (Clarence Ray Allen). I guess there's about 500 people out there, rallying, reading writings by Allen, and joining in chants.

He sounds like an interesting guy. We don't usually get to hear from a person's grandkids when the person is on death row, but their writings have been read a fair bit.

So sad...
